The following list of legal requirements are needed only for legal marriage. The Dreams Huatulco Wedding Coordinator must receive the following documents to begin the application for marriage in the Civil Registry Office.

Requirements:
• • Copy of Birth certificate. Certified copies legalized by Mexican Consulate in your country
• • Copy of Valid Passports (Groom & Bride)
• • Tourist Visa Cards for the Bride, Groom and Witnesses. (Will be provided at the airport)
• • $300 USD fee for a blood test. To be valid, the test must be taken in Mexico, no more than 14 days prior to the ceremony. The blood will be tested for HIV, STD's and blood type. Results will be ready within 24 hours.
• • Four witnesses are required by law. If any witness is not a Mexican citizen, a copy of their Tourist Visa Cards are required. The hotel can provide any number of witness necessary.
• • Permission from the Secretary of State to get married in Mexico. Must be done directly, upon arrival, at Immigration.
• • Reservation with the Justice of Peace must be made 30 days prior to the ceremony.
• • Certified copies of the original birth certificate and original divorce certificates will stay with the Justice of the Peace. They won't be returned*
• • Bride, Groom & Witnesses must arrive in Huatulco four business days prior to the wedding day (Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays do not count)
• • If Bride or Groom are divorced, they will need their original Birth Certificates and Final Divorce Decrees. These documents must be translated into Spanish and each must have a stamp (Le Apostille) of the Registry of their country. Translation services cost is $45.00 USD plus a 15% tax per certificate. Translation must be done in Mexico or by a certified translator at the Mexican embassy of the couple's country, otherwise will not be valid.
• • The names, addresses, nationalities, ages, occupation, relationship, copy of a tourist card and a valid identification of the 4 witnesses. Wedding Coordinator will send you the legal form. The witnesses can be relatives, friends or anyone who has a valid passport.
• • The Marriage Certificate is only valid in Mexico. In order to make it legal internationally, the Wedding Coordinator will send a copy of your License to the Validation Process. The fee will be $150 USD. The process will take up to 2-4 months. Once the document is apostilled, the resort will send all documentation to couples home address.

All weddings, regardless of size, must be booked a minimum of 30 days in advance of the wedding date. Subject to availability and double occupancy only. Prices and package subject to change without notice. This package cannot be combined with the Dreams Eternity Honeymoon Package for both to be received complimentary and the free wedding package cannot be deducted when purchasing other packages. 15% discount on spa treatments cannot be applied to spa packages or combined with any other spa promotion or offer. Please note restrictions apply when combining the complimentary wedding package with the Groups, Gatherings, and Getaways promotion. See promotion terms and conditions for details.

Once wedding is confirmed it cannot be canceled within 6 months of the date of the wedding without a fee. For weddings booked within 6 months of the wedding date the wedding cannot be canceled without the penalty. The cancellation penalty is $100.

*Additional fees apply for service of a judge or minister. These fees vary by resort and will be confirmed by the wedding coordinator.
