Environmental Impact
Secrets The Vine has earned the Travelife Gold Certification by committing to sustainability through protecting culture and traditions, supporting local people and preserving the environment.
Wildlife Protection
Secrets The Vine works to protect the turtles from predators to ensure a safe nesting season (June-September). At the time of hatching, qualified staff members guide the turtles safely into the ocean.
Recycling & Resource Conservation
Secrets The Vine has implemented programs to conserve water, energy and electricity. It participates in Earth Hour – a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) hosted event each March that encourages businesses and households to turn off all non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about taking action on climate change. The resort donates proceeds from an art auction to the WWF and participates in monthly beach and annual Nichupte Lagoon area clean-ups with the help of resort guests.
Our Community
Secrets The Vine is a TAG Approved® LGBTQ-welcoming resort. It actively support the community through regular donations of clothing and shoes to local organizations in need, including those helping children and the elderly.
